‘View’ Fans Demand Whoopi Goldberg Be Fired Over ‘Disturbing Behavior’

Many fans of The View stuck by Whoopi Goldberg after she made unfavorable remarks about the Holocaust. However, Goldberg came under fire again after displaying “disturbing behavior” on live TV, and this time, viewers claim she had gone too far, demanding her termination.

Whoopi Goldberg was left feeling the heat after coming under fire for her statements on the air. The television personality caused quite a stir during an episode of The View while talking about parenting. “Sometimes you have to be an a** to be a parent,” the African-American host declared on live TV. According to The Sun, the comedian’s language didn’t go down so well with viewers.

One Reddit user commented, “Whoopi and Sunny’s [Hostin] foul language was a bit much today.” The user also called out the hosts for cursing while talking about tighter gun control. “Between Whoopi using the word ‘b***hin’ and Sunny referring to Republicans ‘p**sing on her leg when it’s raining’ I had to turn off,” they wrote. “I know they’re passionate about gun issues but this is daytime TV, not the Howard Stern show. Some people have kids home for the summer.”

According to the Daily Mail, viewers of the American talk show demanded that Whoopi Goldberg be fired for “going nuts” while on live TV. Fans of the show called for the producers to have a casting rearrangement after the popular show faced a series of blunders. “Someone needs to start pushing back on Whoopi,” one fan wrote. “I have a feeling someone will not let her interject one day which will cause Whoopi to go full-on nuts honestly. She has gotten exponentially worse this season so I hope next time contract negotiations are up it’s time to go, or work less days.”

A second fan reacted by writing, “I have no idea what ABC thinks is happening here. They take several women, with no real credibility and let them mouth off day after day and they’re surprised that one day someone says something stupid?”

But, that’s not all. This came on the heels of the veteran actress making headlines a few days prior when she accused her guest co-anchor, Ana Navarro, of trying to steal her job. As The View’s moderator, Whoopi is the one in charge of running the segments and deciding when it’s time to change topics or take a break. Ana, however, decided to give it a try herself and tried to end a discussion by interrupting Whoopi.

After cutting off the longtime host, Navarro then suggested it was time for a commercial break. “Maybe we talk a little bit more about that when we come back,” Ana told Whoopi, giving her a little side-eye. Wanting to put her back in her place, Whoopi sarcastically asked Ana, “Oh, you wanna do this?”
